One of the most annoying habits of some iPhone owners can be summed up in this one quip: How do you know if someone has an iPhone? They tell you.
And for reasons like this, I am turned off by Apple products simply due to the behavior of Apple product consumers. There are many people, and I’m sure you have come across some, that are very zealous in making sure you know that they have an iPhone. Hell, you may even be one of those zealous people yourself! It is a lot like how a proud parent forces you to check out pictures of their kids.
OK, I get it. You have a shiny new phone. But it’s just that: a phone. Get over it.
And of course, my run-ins with Apple fanboys haven’t been limited to iPhones. I was in a coffee shop a few weeks ago and I made the mistake of referring to a guy’s Macbook as a “laptop”. That resulted in him giving me a dirty look and correcting me, saying that “this isn’t a laptop, it’s a Macbook“. Umm, OK.
So to all you overjoyed people out there who stood in line for hours and hours to get the latest iPhone, congrats and kudos and all that. Just try to remember that 99% or better of the world’s population couldn’t care less.
I made sure to make this video in HTML5 format so our brothers and sisters could see this on their iPads

Hey, I just got an Asus netbook and it runs better than coffeesister’s Macbook. So far.
Asus is the brand of netbook I got as well. I’ve been really happy with it so far, only thing I’ve still been meaning to do is bump up the RAM to 2 gigs
My craptop had 512mg, so I’m happy with the one gig of ram so far, as you can imagine.
I have an iPhone. ‘Nuff said.
You know Apple products are a funny thing. I did get the iPad over a netbook, but looked heavily at both. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been working on the iPad at a coffee shop and someone comes up to me and asks to see it. I’m thinking it is just a tool I use for business, but people look at it as if it was the second coming or something. It isn’t until you realize that you can’t watch a slideshow or video because it is flash that you understand the shortcomings with an Apple product…or the phone drops your call, again. I have to give Apple credit for their marketing. They create this kind of magical product mystique that consumers just eat up.
