Update On The @AlohaArleen Scandal

September 15, 2009

The fallout from the recent accusations against Arleen Anderson has begun.

Ted Murphy announced on the Izeafest blog that Arleen “will no longer be joining us for the session on Twitter.”

Damon Tucker has reported that he received an email from Izea stating that they have severed all ties with her and are in the process of removing her presence from their websites.

Arleen Anderson no longer appears in the list of “tweeter profiles” on Sponsored Tweets, an Izea company.

Andy Bumatai has reported that Arleen is no longer listed as a speaker at the 140 Conference in L.A.

In spite (or is it despite?) all these occurrences, the AlohaArleen Twitter account has been strangely quiet, so I am unable to report anything from her side.

Update: Reasons for the silence on Arleen”s Twitter account may be because she has left Twitter for Facebook, as two people have reported here and here.

Have you noticed how fast this site is? It's not because I have an expensive hosting plan or a fancy server, its because of what Speed Themes did to this site. Even if you're on an inexpensive shared hosting plan like me, the guys over at Speed Themes can boost your blog's speed up!

I saw that. I see that she said that all will be made clear soon. That’s a very vague statement so I will continue to follow this saga and perhaps do a big investigative article on it real soon.
