More flexibility, more plugins, more options. And, it's no longer hard. I move folks from one blogging platform to another quite a lot. As an aside, if jumping overboard isn't your style, you can develop a little bit of code and keep it handy. Then you could paste it to the bottom of each post. No, it won't allow things like direct linking your Twitter status update to the post URL, but you could get some additional social connections out of it. I'm not using a plugin to show them at the end of each post, I put in some custom code to do that instead. I'm not sure how you would go about doing something like that on Blogger.
